Mahindra & Mahindra has introduced a new color for the Thar and Scorpio Classic SUVs. They now come in a fresh shade called Stealth Black, replacing the previous Napoli Black color.
Color options for Mahindra Thar and Scorpio
The Mahindra Thar now offers five different exterior colors, while the Scorpio Classic comes with four options.
The Thar, with its three-door version, provides choices like Red Rage, Deep Grey, Stealth Black, Everest White, and Desert Fury.
Meanwhile, the Scorpio Classic offers Galaxy Grey, Everest White, Stealth Black, and Molten Red Rage. Other SUVs from Mahindra, including the Scorpio N, XUV700, XUV300, and Bolero Neo, still come in Napoli Black.
Work underway for 5-Door Thar
Mahindra is currently developing a 5-door version of the Thar, which will compete directly with the Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
The Jimny was introduced in India last year after its debut at the Auto Expo 2023. Mahindra is also testing the 5-door Thar on the roads, with expectations for its launch soon.
Price and features of Mahindra Scorpio
The Mahindra Scorpio Classic is an updated version of the popular SUV. It’s sold alongside the Scorpio N, which features a redesigned look compared to the previous generation.
The Scorpio Classic is priced between ₹13.59 lakh to ₹17.35 lakh (excluding taxes). It comes in two trims, S and S11, and includes new features like a revised front grille, projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, and updated alloy wheels.
