Mahindra & Mahindra: The top Indian car company, Mahindra & Mahindra, has just introduced the Mahindra Bolero Neo+ ambulance.
It’s designed to meet the AIS: 125(PART 1) standard, which is an excellent safety standard, even better than the Type B segment ambulances.
The Bolero Neo+ ambulance costs Rs 13.99 lakh at the showroom, but if you buy it on the e-marketplace (GeM), it’s priced at Rs 12.31 lakh.
Engine
The Bolero Neo+ ambulance uses a special Gen3 Neo chassis and has a 2.2-liter mHawk engine.
This engine can make 120 horsepower and has a peak torque of 280Nm.
It works together with a 6-speed manual to give power to the back wheels of the vehicle.
This same engine is also used in other Mahindra vehicles like the Mahindra Thar, XUV700, Scorpio-N, and Scorpio Classic.
But, it’s important to know that each of these engines has been adjusted differently to provide more power in their respective vehicles.
Regarding its additional features, it’s quite similar to the Bolero Neo released in 2021, but this one has been designed with a longer wheelbase.
Plus, it’s built considering a sturdy body-on-frame structure.
The company says that the Neo+ is almost like an ambulance, but it’s larger and has more space compared to the van-sized ambulance.
Features
The ambulance comes with useful features like a stretcher to help the patient, an oxygen cylinder, tools for keeping things clean, and washing equipment.
Additionally, it has an air-conditioned cabin with seating for the driver plus four more people.
By introducing this ambulance, the company is keeping its commitment to serving the country.
They provide services not only to the general public but also to the police, army, and other forces.
They are involved in various tasks like firefighting, forestry, and irrigation.
Similarly, the Neo+ ambulance will continue to serve with its large capacity, especially in rural areas and towns.
