The cost of a cooking gas cylinder has gone down before January 1.
Starting today, December 22, the price of a commercial gas cylinder has decreased by Rs 39.50 from Delhi to Patna.
This reduction applies only to 19 kg commercial cylinders, and there is no change in the price of household cylinders.
From now on, the Indane commercial cylinder will cost Rs 1757 in Delhi, compared to its previous price of Rs 1796.50.
In Kolkata, the same 19 kg cylinder is now priced at Rs 1868.50, down from Rs 1908. Until yesterday, it was sold for Rs 1908.
In Mumbai, the cylinder will be available for Rs 1710 instead of Rs 1749. In Chennai, the cost of LPG cylinders will be reduced by Rs 39.50, and they will be sold at Rs 1929.
It’s important to note that the rates of commercial LPG cylinders increased on December 1.
On November 16, the day of Karva Chauth, a 19 kg LPG cylinder became more expensive by over Rs 100.

There is no change in the price of household LPG cylinders. The rate of a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder remains the same.
On August 30, 2023, the price of domestic LPG cylinders was reduced by Rs 200.
According to the update on the Indian Oil website, today, 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders are available at the same rate as on August 30.
In Delhi, it is priced at Rs 903 per cylinder, in Kolkata at Rs 929, in Mumbai at Rs 902.50, and in Chennai, as of November 1, 2023, it is available at the rate of Rs 918.50 per cylinder.
