Good news for everyone before the Chhath festival! The government’s oil companies have lowered the prices of big cooking gas cylinders used in hotels and restaurants in four major cities, including Delhi, starting from November 16.
The reduction is significant, up to Rs 57.50. Here are the new prices for a 19 kg LPG cylinder in each city:
Delhi: Rs 1775.50
Kolkata: Rs 1885.50
Mumbai: Rs 1728
Chennai: Rs 1942
Compare these with the prices on November 1
Delhi: Rs 1833
Kolkata: Rs 1943
Mumbai: Rs 1785.50
Chennai: Rs 1999.50
It’s worth noting that at the beginning of November, Bharat Petroleum Corporation and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation had set the retail prices for these commercial LPG cylinders at Rs 101.5.
