Kia Motors launches Two New Updated Variants of it’s Seltos SUV: Check Features

Kia Seltos New Models: Kia Motors has added two new versions to their Seltos SUV collection. These are called GTX+ (S) and X-Line (S).

The cost of GTX+ (S) is Rs 19.39 lakh, and the price of X-Line (S) is Rs 19.59 lakh.

These two models are a bit cheaper than the GTX+ and X-Line models.

When it comes to the features, the new Seltos GTX+ (S) and X-Line (S) models do not have a Bose sound system or a 360-degree camera.

Instead, they come with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), an electronic parking brake, two screens for entertainment, and 18-inch fancy alloy wheels.

They also have a camera for reversing and a sound system with six speakers.

If customers want, they can choose to have a black roof lining for an extra cost of Rs 20,000.

Powertrain

The new version has two engine options. One is a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine that makes 160 horsepower and 253 Newton-meters of power.

The other is a 1.5-liter diesel engine that produces 115 horsepower and 144 Newton-meters of power.

The petrol engine uses a 7-speed DCT gearbox, and the diesel version uses a 6-speed automatic transmission gearbox.

Kia India says you might have to wait for about two months to get the new GTX+ (S) and X-Line (S) versions.

Right now, if you want the new Kia Seltos, you might have to wait for four months.

This SUV competes with other cars like Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Toyota Hyrider.

Other models will also be updated

After updating the new Seltos, Kia is getting ready to update the Sonet small SUV and Carens MPV.

They’re also planning to release a new generation Kia Carnival. All three cars should be available in 2024.

Just like the new Kia Seltos, the upcoming Sonet update might have ADAS with 7-8 features.

It could also have a new dashboard design and a camera that shows all around the car. But they probably won’t change the engines in it.

Kia is going to bring a new electric MPV

Kia India is getting ready to bring out its first electric MPV. They plan to launch it by the end of the financial year in 2025.

Right now, they’re testing this electric car in Korea. It should be able to travel about 400-500 kilometers on a single charge.
