Kia Introduces Budget-Friendly Variants to Sonet SUV Lineup

Kia India made changes to their popular Sonet SUV, adding new basic versions that are cheaper but still have good features.

They introduced two new versions called HTE(O) and HTK(O). The price for the HTE(O) with a petrol engine starts at Rs 8.19 lakh, and the diesel version starts at Rs 10.00 lakh.

They updated the Sonet in January 2024 to make it even better and more affordable for customers.

These new versions, HTE(O) and HTK(O), now have a sunroof, which was only available in more expensive models before.

The HTK(O) also has automatic climate control and connected tail lamps.

You can choose between a petrol or diesel engine for the Sonet. The petrol engine is a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder one that produces 83hp and comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

It can travel around 18.83kmpl. The diesel engine is a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder one that produces 116hp and comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The Sonet is a small SUV that’s popular in India right now. Other popular models in this category include the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Mahindra XUV300.
