Kia India just released the 2024 version of its well-liked SUV, the Seltos diesel. This SUV now has a diesel engine that can be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
The diesel model was introduced in July 2023 and has been well-received by customers.
Initially, the diesel was only available in automatic and intelligent manual transmission (IMT) options, but now it’s also linked to a 6-speed manual transmission.
You can choose from 5 different versions, and it starts at Rs 11,99,900.
Myung-Sik Sohn, Chief Sales and Business Strategy Officer at Kia India, mentioned, “We believe in giving customers options for their driving experience.
Many customers wanted the joy of changing gears, so we introduced the Seltos diesel variant with a 6-speed manual transmission.”
The starting price for the HTE variant of the 2024 Kia Seltos MT diesel is Rs 11,99,900.
The HTK variant is priced at Rs 13,59,900, HTK+ at Rs 14,99,900, HTX at Rs 16,67,900, and HTX+ at Rs 18,27,900.
The highest variant with diesel manual comes in at Rs 18,27,900, and it will compete with the Hyundai Creta Diesel.
The Seltos boasts top-notch safety with 32 features, including a dual-screen panoramic display, HD touchscreen navigation, dual-zone fully automatic air conditioner, and R17 43.66 cm crystal-cut alloy wheels.
It also features a dual-pane panoramic sunroof and an electric parking brake.
Seltos has achieved record sales since its launch in the Indian market in 2019.
It is the most popular model, contributing over 51% to Kia India’s total domestic dispatch. Globally, one in every 10 Kia cars sold is a Seltos.
