Jobs are available at the Publication Division of NCERT. There are a total of 170 positions for DTP Operator, Proof Reader, and Assistant Editor.
- Assistant Editor: 60 positions
- Proof Reader: 60 positions
- DTP Operator: 50 positions
These are temporary positions for 4 months. To apply, you generally need a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field. The age limit is 50 years for the Editor role, 42 years for the Proof Reader role, and 45 years for the DTP Operator role.
To apply, you must visit the NCERT office in New Delhi between 10 AM and 3 PM on February 1, 2024, for screening and registration.
Successful candidates will undergo an interview/skill test on February 2nd and 3rd, 2024. For more information and to view the notice, visit ncert.nic.in.
If selected, the salary is as follows:
- Assistant Editor: Rs 80,000 per month
- Proof Reader: Rs 37,000 per month
- DTP Operator: Rs 50,000 per month
