IRCTC, the Indian Railways’ tourism arm, is offering an exclusive travel package for North-East India.
The special tour, named “North East Discovery,” will commence on November 16 and will take passengers to Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tripura, and Meghalaya.
The 14-night/15-day journey will be conducted on the luxurious Bharat Gaurav Deluxe air-conditioned tourist train, departing from Safdarjung Railway Station in Delhi.
It offers three accommodation categories: AC I, AC II, and AC III, accommodating up to 204 tourists.
Travelers will explore various captivating destinations, including Guwahati, Sivasagar, Jorhat, and Kaziranga in Assam; Unakoti, Agartala, and Udaipur in Tripura; Dimapur and Kohima in Nagaland;
and Shillong and Cherrapunji in Meghalaya. Additionally, passengers can board or disembark at Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Tundla, Kanpur, and Lucknow railway stations.
The Bharat Gaurav Deluxe air-conditioned tourist train offers modern amenities such as two dining cars, a contemporary flameless kitchen, shower cubicles in AC I and AC II coaches, sensor-based washrooms, foot massagers, and a mini library.
This fully air-conditioned train ensures a comfortable journey with its AC I, AC II, and AC III accommodation options.
