Best Mutual Fund: Aditya Birla Sun Life Digital India Fund is a thematic equity scheme that invests in Technology, Telecom, Media, Entertainment and allied sectors.

The fund aims to generate long-term wealth creation through a portfolio with a target of investing 100% in equities and focusing on sectoral/thematic investments.

The fund can invest up to 25% of its net assets in stocks of global technology companies and their related ancillary industries.

A monthly SIP of Rs 10,000 in the fund over the past three years resulted in a net investment of Rs 3.60 lakh, but a CAGR of 26.07% made this a net investment of Rs 5.24 lakh.

Five years and since inception returns

The CAGR of the fund during the last five years has been 24.86%. This increased the total investment amount by Rs 6 lakh to Rs 11.09 lakh with a monthly SIP of Rs 10,000.

The fund’s CAGR since inception has been 16.49%, making a monthly SIP of Rs 10,000 worth the total investment amount of Rs 27.50 lakh.

But due to the return, this money became Rs 2.53 crore.

The fund has outperformed its benchmark over the last five years. Its returns have been a CAGR of 24.57 per cent, while its benchmark S&P BSE Tech TRI has delivered 20.70 per cent during the same period.
