Now you can complete this journey in less than three hours. On Thursday, Indigo Airlines started operations from New Goa International Airport (Mopa, North Goa).
Indigo’s 76th domestic destination
After the second airport in Goa became operational, Indigo started flights on this route with a direct flight between Hyderabad-Goa.
With this, it became the 76th domestic and 102nd overall destination of the airline’s 6E network.
The company will operate 168 weekly flights between Mopa and eight domestic destinations, namely Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad.
Easy access to these places in Goa
Indigo Airlines has started these operations given increasing demand due to the popularity of Goa and to provide more economical options to the customers.

on-time performance and hassle-free service, connecting customers to the places they love.
After landing at this airport, travellers can easily access tourist attractions such as Chapora Fort, Vagator Beach, Anjuna Beach, Fort Aguada, Baga Beach, and Candolim Beach.
This is the timing of the main flights
If you look at the timing and time taken of the eight domestic destinations from which Indigo flights are being operated, the daily flight from Mumbai to Mopa will take off at 9.40 am and land at 10.55 am.
After flying from Delhi at 7.25 am, it will reach Manohar Airport at 10.05 am.
The flight from Bengaluru to Mopa will take off at 10.10 am, arriving at 11.25 am, while from Chennai, it will take off at 2.10 pm and land at Mopa at 3.35 pm.
On the other hand, the Indigo flight from Ahmedabad will take off at 5.35 am and reach the destination at 7.15 am.
Tourist destinations of Maharashtra-Karnataka are also close
This new airport of Goa is located near Maharashtra and Karnataka.
In such a situation, travellers will not only have easy access to the main tourist centres of Goa but also visit places like Amboli,
Gokarna, Dudhsagar Falls, Tarkali, Jog Waterfalls, Dandeli, Kudremukh, Devbagh, Panchgani, Murudeshwar, Malvan, Ganpatipule and Kolhapur. You can also travel to nearby destinations.
