It states that, for operational reasons, the Indian Visa Service has been temporarily suspended starting from September 21, 2023, until further notice.

Two days ago, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau claimed there might be a connection between an Indian government agent and the murder of a Khalistani separatist.
This has led to a disagreement between India and Canada on a diplomatic level.
Canada Visa Services Suspended: India had issued advisory
The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has given advice to Indian citizens and students living in Canada.
On Wednesday, India issued a warning, advising its citizens and those thinking of traveling to Canada to be very careful.
Additionally, the Ministry of External Affairs has urged Indian students in Canada to be extremely cautious and stay vigilant.
As per the advice given, due to a rise in actions against India and incidents of hate crimes and violence with political support in Canada, all Indians currently in Canada and those planning to travel there are strongly advised to be very careful and vigilant.

The message from the Ministry of External Affairs tells us that there have been recent warnings about potential harm to Indian diplomats and members of the Indian community who stand against anti-India activities.
As a result, Indian citizens are recommended to avoid going to areas and places in Canada where such incidents have been reported.
