Attention all Bank of India (BOI) debit cardholders! A crucial update regarding your debit card is here.
Starting October 31, your BOI debit card will no longer be operational. This means you won’t be able to make any transactions or withdraw money from ATMs.
To prevent any inconvenience, BOI has shared essential information with its customers. Let’s dive into the details:
Register Your Mobile Number by October 31
BOI has communicated this important message to its customers through a tweet. The bank stated, “Dear BOI customers, as per regulatory requirements, having a valid mobile number is now mandatory to use your debit card.
We kindly request you to visit your branch and update/register your mobile number before October 31, 2023, to ensure uninterrupted debit card services.”
Take Immediate Action
If you’re a BOI customer and use their debit card, it’s crucial to act swiftly. Visit your nearest BOI branch to either register or update your mobile number. Failing to do so will result in the deactivation of your debit card.
Visit the Branch to Update Your Number
If you cannot update your registered mobile number online or through an ATM, don’t worry. You can easily get this done by visiting your nearest BOI branch.
Simply fill out the mobile number change form provided at the branch, providing the necessary information.
Remember to bring a photocopy of your passbook and Aadhar card for submission. Once the form is completed, your registered mobile number will be updated.
Ensure your continued access to BOI debit card services by taking action before the October 31 deadline. Your convenience is our priority!
