The government has decided to reduce the subsidy amount provided on electric vehicle purchases (Rules Change From June 1, 2023) to Rs 10,000 per kilowatt-hour (kWh).

Previously, this subsidy amounted to Rs 15,000 per kWh.

This government directive will be implemented from June 1, 2023.

Consequently, buying an electric bike or scooter could become approximately Rs 25-30 thousand more expensive due to the reduced subsidy.

What Awaits the Gas Cylinder Prices?

At the start of every month, changes are introduced in the prices of LPG cylinders (Rules Change From June 1, 2023).

In April and May, gas companies reduced the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders.

However, the prices of 14 kg domestic gas cylinders have remained unchanged since March.

In March 2023, the price of domestic gas cylinders was increased by Rs 50.

It remains uncertain whether the price will remain constant or decrease in June.

Fluctuations in CNG-PNG Prices

The prices of PNG-CNG are also subject to change at the beginning of each month. Petroleum companies revise their prices in Delhi and Mumbai accordingly.

This time, too, we can expect some changes.

In April, the prices decreased for Delhi-NCR (CNG PNG Price in Delhi), while they remained stable in May.

However, the exact price of CNG-PNG in June will be disclosed in the coming days.
