ICICI Bank has launched a new feature called SmartLock on its mobile app, iMobile Pay.
This innovative feature allows customers to lock and unlock multiple banking services instantly, enhancing account security without needing to contact customer care.
Features of SmartLock
Comprehensive Control: Customers can lock/unlock internet banking, UPI (including payments from other UPI apps linked to the bank account), credit and debit cards, and even the entire iMobile Pay app.
Enhanced Security: Empowers users to take control of their account’s safety, especially useful in preventing fraudulent transactions.
Scheduled Transactions: Allows scheduled standing instructions (SI) and E-mandates to process even when a service is locked.
How to Use the SmartLock Feature
- Login to iMobile Pay: Open the iMobile Pay app on your mobile device.
- Access SmartLock: Click on the ‘SmartLock’ feature located at the bottom right corner of the home screen.
- Select Services: Choose the key banking services you wish to lock or unlock.
- Confirm Action: Swipe to confirm your selection.
Getting Started with iMobile Pay
Customers of any bank can link their bank account with iMobile Pay, generate a UPI ID, and start transacting using the app.
