Hyundai’s 2023 i20 N Line has arrived in India with a thrilling transformation. The highlight is
the introduction of a new 6-speed manual gearbox, replacing the previous iMT transmission.
The car sports fresh LED headlamps, an updated grille design, and distinctive 16-inch alloy wheels bearing the N branding.
Hyundai has stepped up the safety game, offering standard features like 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist Control (HAC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), 3-point seat belts, all-disc brakes,
and automatic rear headlamps for all seats. Notably, the vehicle boasts an impressive array of 35 safety features, including a seatbelt reminder and a tire pressure monitoring system.
Inside, you’ll find a sporty 3-spoke steering wheel with the N logo, N-logo-adorned leather seats, a leather-wrapped gear shifter, and vibrant red ambient lighting.
The car also features a brand-new infotainment system and a 7-speaker Bose audio system.
Further enhancing the experience are 60+ connected car features, 127 embedded VR commands, 52 Hinglish voice commands, over-the-air updates, and a convenient C-type charger. Hyundai introduces a striking Abyss Black color option to the lineup.
Engine and Pricing
Under the hood, the i20 N Line retains its powerful 1.0L Turbo GDi petrol engine, delivering 120PS of power and 172Nm of torque. It offers both manual and DCT options.
The vehicle comes in two trims, N6 and N8, with prices commencing at Rs 9.99 lakh for the manual transmission and reaching Rs 12.3 lakh for the top-of-the-line DCT variant.
The i20 N Line stands as India’s sole hot hatchback, boasting a devoted fan base and no direct competition.
The addition of the manual transmission further enhances the N Line’s allure. Currently, Hyundai’s N Line brand encompasses models like the Venue N Line and the fresh i20 N Line.
