Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has recently launched the 2023 Shine 125, featuring an engine that complies with OBD2 standards, at an initial price of Rs 79,800 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The bike is available in two variants: Drum and Disc.
The drum variant comes at a slightly higher price of Rs 83,800 compared to the disc variant.
The commuter motorcycle is offered in five vibrant color options, including Black, Genie Gray Metallic, Matte Axis Grey, Rebel Red Metallic, and Decent Blue Metallic.
Riders can enjoy an impressive mileage of up to 55kmpl with this bike.

Continuing the Success of the Shine Brand
The launch of the 2023 Honda Shine 125 follows the introduction of the OBD2-spec Dio and the Unicorn, while the Shine 100 entered the market a few months ago.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India’s President, CEO, and Managing Director,
Tsutsumu Otani, expressed confidence in the Shine 125, stating that it will set a new benchmark in its segment and further strengthen their position.
Otani also acknowledged the success of the Shine brand, emphasizing the trust and loyalty bestowed upon them by their customers.
Impressive Specifications
The 2023 Honda Shine 125 is equipped with a 125cc Fi engine that meets OBD2 standards.
It boasts Honda’s ACG starter and friction reduction technology, paired with a five-speed transmission.
Notable features include a two-way engine start/stop switch, integrated headlamp beam and passing switch, DC headlamp, five-step adjustable rear suspension, and a sealed chain.
Enhanced Safety with Combi-Brake System
The Shine 125 also incorporates a Combi-Brake System (CBS) with equalizer, ensuring enhanced safety for riders.
The bike offers a ground clearance of 162mm, a wheelbase of 1,285mm, and a seat length of 651mm.
Additionally, the external fuel pump is conveniently located outside the fuel tank, minimizing maintenance requirements.

Riders will appreciate the inclusion of tubeless tires, along with chrome garnished front visor, side covers with chrome stroke, attractive body graphics, chrome muffler cover, and a simple meter console.
