Himachal Pradesh is experiencing heavy rain in many areas, causing significant disruption. Currently, 128 roads are closed due to landslides and flash floods.
Sirmaur has seen the highest rainfall, recording 168.3 mm since Friday evening.
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for flood danger in Mandi, Sirmaur, Shimla, and Kullu districts until Sunday morning.

From August 11 to 16, the IMD has issued a yellow alert for heavy rains across different parts of Himachal Pradesh.
Strong winds and waterlogging in low-lying areas may damage gardens, crops, weak structures, and kutcha houses.
Residents in Hamirpur district, in particular, are advised to avoid rivers and drains due to the ongoing orange alert.

A cloudburst on July 31 caused severe destruction in three districts of Himachal Pradesh, resulting in 28 deaths.
Search operations continue for the 30 people who are still missing. The families of the victims are losing hope of finding their loved ones alive.
The IMD has warned of the possibility of more heavy rains, with an orange alert in place for Kangra, Mandi, Shimla, Solan,
and Sirmaur districts over the next 24 hours. A yellow alert is also in effect for Una, Bilaspur, and Hamirpur districts.
Casualties and Financial Impact
Between June 27 and August 8, heavy rains have caused 100 fatalities in Himachal Pradesh.
The state has suffered an estimated loss of Rs 802 crore due to the rain and landslides this year.
Currently, 663 personnel from the Army, NDRF, SDRF, ITBP, CISA, Himachal Pradesh Police,
and Home Guard are involved in search and rescue operations in areas affected by the recent cloudbursts.
