Kisan Loan Portal
The central government has introduced a new Kisan Loan Portal, offering farmers affordable loans.
Farmers without Kisan Credit Cards can now register using their Aadhaar numbers, gaining access to low-interest loans.
Timely repayments will lead to even more subsidies. The portal streamlines loan distribution, interest rebates, scheme utilization, and bank integration.
KCC Initiatives
The government has relaunched the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) Initiatives, granting farmers loans up to Rs 3 lakh.
An allocation of approximately Rs 20,000 crore has been earmarked for KCC loans.
Door-to-Door KCC
To extend Kisan Credit Card benefits to more farmers, the government has initiated a door-to-door Know Your Customer (KYC) campaign.
This effort targets PM Kisan Yojana beneficiaries receiving Rs. 6,000 annually from the government.
WINDS Portal
In a bid to aid agriculture-dependent on weather conditions, the government has introduced the Weather Information Network Data Systems (WINDS) Portal.
It provides vital weather-related information to farmers across the nation.
The portal also equips farmers with analytics tools to make informed farming decisions.
