Google’s video streaming giant, YouTube, is not just a source of entertainment; it’s a platform providing livelihoods to thousands.
People earn money here based on their talents. In just one minute, 500 hours of content gets uploaded to YouTube worldwide.
Now, YouTube is making changes to its mobile app. According to a report by 9to5 Google, the ‘Library’ option will soon be replaced by ‘You’.
Currently, when you open the mobile app, you find the Library option at the bottom right, which contains History, Playlist, Your Videos, and more.
Google is transforming this into ‘You’ and making a few tweaks. Soon, under ‘You’, you’ll have access to History, Playlist, Your Videos, Downloads, Your Clips, and Your Movies. Your Clips, which is not in the Library now, will be included in the update.
Additionally, Google is relocating the Profile tab. Instead of finding it at the top, you’ll now see it at the bottom under the ‘You’ tab. A visual of this update has been shared by 9to5 Google.
Gmail App Gets an Upgrade
In another move, Google has introduced a feature in the Gmail app called ‘Select All’. This allows you to choose and delete up to 50 emails at once.
Previously, there was no option to select multiple emails, making it challenging to manage your inbox. Thanks to this new update, clearing your inbox is now a breeze.
