Google Rolls Out Gemini AI App for Android Users in India

“Google, the company that helps you find things online, made a new app called Gemini. It’s a smart app that can talk to you.

If you have an Android phone, you can get Gemini for free from the Google Play Store. But if you have an iPhone, you won’t find Gemini as a separate app.

Instead, there’s a special button inside the Google app that lets you use Gemini.

They used to call Gemini by another name, Bard. They changed the name and made a special app for Android phones.

Now, people in many countries, including India, can use it in English, Korean, or Japanese.

If you have an iPhone, you can still use Gemini. Just open the Google app and look for a button to turn on Gemini.

If you don’t see it, make sure your Google app is updated.

Google says that to use the Gemini app, your Android phone should have enough memory (they say at least 4GB RAM) and be updated to Android 12 or later.

For iPhone users, your phone needs to run on iOS 16 or later.

To get Gemini on your Android phone, go to the Google Play Store, search for ‘Google Gemini,’ and tap the blue icon with the Google LLC name.

Then tap ‘Install’ and sign in with your Google or Gmail account.”
