Google Introduces AI Image Creation with New Search Generator Experience

In the fast-paced world of technology, leading companies are racing to enhance their AI offerings.

While some are providing updates, others are bringing even more significant changes for users.

Major players like Google and Microsoft have already introduced their AI models with various new features.

Google, in particular, recently revealed a game-changing feature for its Search Generator Experience (SGE) – the ability to create images directly from text prompts.

This innovation mirrors Microsoft’s introduction of Bing Image Creator in Bing Search a few months ago, offering a similar feature within Google’s SGE.

What is Google’s SGE?

For those unfamiliar with Google’s SGE, it’s an AI-powered search engine designed to elevate users’ browsing experiences through the power of AI.

Google’s SGE represents a novel approach to search engines, employing AI to generate more detailed and informative responses to user queries.

The company has equipped SGE with ‘Search’ and ‘Interface’ capabilities, along with a range of new features to enhance its interactivity and usefulness.

Previously, Google gave users the option to ‘summarize search queries’ via SGE, enabling quicker access to precise information.

Another update offered users the ability to check grammar and other errors in their search results.

Now, Google is taking it a step further by enabling users to create AI images directly from the search bar.

To access this feature, users need to activate the SGE tool and enter a query, such as ‘create.’ Within moments, Google’s AI will generate an AI image right below the search bar.

It’s worth noting that Google’s image creation relies on the company’s Imagen family model, which shares features with Google Slides and Meet.
