Google Develops New Messaging App to Rival WhatsApp and Signal

Google is creating a new messaging app to compete with WhatsApp and Signal. This app will have RCS support, offering many excellent features.

Recently, Google added several new features to its messaging app, such as better message management, video calls, and the ability to watch YouTube videos.

These features set it apart from apps like WhatsApp and Signal.

New Voice Notes Feature

Google has introduced a Voice Notes feature in its messaging app. This feature allows users to easily record and share short messages.

Users can record messages anytime, anywhere, making it especially helpful for those who may not be comfortable with writing or don’t have time for lengthy messages.

According to Android Police, Google is also working on adding a noise cancellation feature to Voice Notes.

This feature will eliminate background noise from recorded messages, ensuring clear audio for users.

Noise Cancellation Feature

The beta version of the Google Messages app is getting a new noise cancellation feature.

This function helps remove background noise from recorded audio and comes with a dedicated button.

Users can start recording audio by tapping this button, activating the noise cancellation feature. Although still in the testing phase, it is expected to be available to all users soon.
