Exciting New Look Toyota’s Indian Army-Approved Vehicle Set to Create a Buying Frenzy

If you plan to buy a strong and powerful pickup truck soon, here’s some news for you. The big Japanese car company Toyota is going to release a refreshed version of its popular Hilux.

Many reports suggest that the new Hilux might come out next year. Last year, the Tata Hilux was added to the Indian Army’s vehicles.

The Toyota Hilux is now the next four-wheel-drive vehicle in the Indian Army’s fleet. The updated Hilux has changes in its grille, lights, and front and rear bumpers. Let’s learn more about the upcoming Hilux pickup.

The truck has a strong engine, and it’s important to mention that the new Toyota Hilux Facelift 2024 comes with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system.

This system works with a 2.8-liter turbo diesel, 4-cylinder engine. However, this engine option is only available in specific Hilux variants.

This engine can produce a maximum power of 204bhp and a peak torque of 500Nm.

The 48-volt mild-hybrid system in the Hilux is designed to support other parts like the engine pump, fan, lights, and air conditioning. This means you can expect better fuel efficiency.

The pickup also has great connectivity. The Hilux mild-hybrid variant includes six off-road drive modes, which are good for tough terrains.

The updated Toyota Hilux pickup comes with front and rear parking sensors. Higher trims have two rear USB C-ports and a wireless smartphone charging pad.

Inside the car, you’ll find features like dual-zone climate control and automatic up-down function for all side windows.
