Good news for those planning to buy a new car! Maruti Suzuki, the leading car-selling company in the country, is offering a significant discount on its newly launched and best-selling model, the New Swift.
According to a report by India Today, customers can enjoy a maximum discount of ₹17,100 on the New Swift.
This discount includes a cash discount of ₹15,000 and an additional institutional sales benefit of ₹2,100.
The New Swift was introduced by Maruti Suzuki in May 2024. Since its launch, it has attracted 35,815 new customers within the first two months.
Notably, in the very first month of its release, the New Swift became the top-selling car in the country. The Maruti Suzuki Swift is available in five variants: LXi, VXi, VXi(O), ZXi, and ZXi+.
Details of the Maruti Swift’s Powertrain
The updated Maruti Suzuki Swift comes with a robust powertrain.
It features a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder Z-series petrol engine that delivers a maximum power of 82bhp and a peak torque of 112Nm.
This engine is paired with both a 5-speed manual and an automatic gearbox. The company claims that the petrol manual variant of the Swift offers a mileage of 24.8 km per liter.
The automatic variant is slightly more fuel-efficient, with a mileage of 25.75 km per liter.
Features and Pricing of the New Swift
Inside the cabin, the updated Maruti Swift is equipped with modern features such as a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic air conditioning, wireless phone charging, and connected car technology.
For safety, the Swift includes standard features like 6 airbags, a rear parking sensor, and a rear parking camera.
The Maruti Swift competes in the market with models like the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
The price of the updated Maruti Suzuki Swift starts at ₹6.49 lakh for the base model and goes up to ₹9.64 lakh for the top variant.
