New Delhi:

Aadhaar issuing body UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) has posted a tweet about the most commonly-repeated myths and confusions surrounding security of data and the privacy of transactions in the financial sector.

The most frequently asked questions people ask is whether UIDAI gets access to your financial data when you connect your bank account shares,

mobile, or the Aadhaar credit cardor not.

In the #AadhaarMythBusters campaign UIDAI has attempted to dispel the myth of privacy and security of data.

“UIDAI only authenticates/verifies your identity through your Aadhaar and does not keep information related to any financial transactions,” UIDAI tweeted.

Aadhaar Card is among the most essential document that could be utilized to fulfill a number of useful purposes.

The 12-digit unique identification number issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has become one of the most important identity documents because

it includes your personal and demographic information as well as biometric information.

Recently, UIDAI along with ISRO and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology created this portal with which you can easily find out information about the nearest Aadhaar center.

You can access it at the convenience of your own home, without needing to go out and search for Aadhaar centres in the vicinity.
