Even before its official launch, details of the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 have been leaked, including its pricing and features. Let’s delve into the specifics.
Color Options and Design
The Bajaj Pulsar NS400 will be available in four color options: Ebony Black, Glossy Racing Red, Metallic Pearl White, and Pewter Grey.
These colors, along with new graphics, enhance the bike’s appearance, reminiscent of the Pulsar NS200 but with distinct differences.
Notably, its design features radical-looking headlamps reminiscent of the movie Venom, and slight variations in the fuel tank size, extensions, and radiator cowl compared to the NS200.
Advanced Features
Loaded with advanced features, the NS400 boasts a Bluetooth-supported color LCD display with dual dash and a navigation system.
It also offers ride-by-wire technology and four ride modes: Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road, altering throttle response and ABS intervention levels.
Additionally, it includes a USB charger, switchable traction control, and adjustable levers.
In terms of hardware, the bike features 43mm upside-down forks and a monoshock suspension, with braking hardware comprising a 320mm disc at the front and a 230mm rotor at the rear.
Engine Powertrain
Similar to the Bajaj Dominar 400, the NS400 is equipped with a 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine generating 39.4bhp at 8,800rpm
and 35Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox with assist and a slipper clutch. Expectations are that the NS400 will weigh less than the Dominar.
