What does a CGHS card holder need to do?
They need to link their CGHS card with the Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) number. They can do this at their nearest CGHS center.
Also, they should update their mobile number and fix any mistakes in their name, birth year, or gender.
What’s the ABHA number?
It’s a 14-digit unique ID for people with the Ayushman Bharat Health Account Card. It’s used to connect all their health records.
And on April 4, 2024, the ministry said people can register for free in the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission to get an ABHA number or health ID.
