The Bihar government is helping daughters with many good plans. One of these plans is called Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana (CM Kanya Utthan Yojana).
This plan is for poor girls. The government will pay for everything from when the girl is born until she finishes school.
They say more than 200,000 girls have already got help from this plan. The government gives Rs 50,000 to each girl, but in parts.
About Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana
This plan gives money to girls. When a girl is born, her parents get Rs 2,000. When she is 1 year old and has an Aadhaar Card, she gets Rs 1,000. When she is 2 years old, she gets Rs 2,000.
When she starts school, the government helps until she’s in class 9. After class 12, they give Rs 10,000. After she finishes college, she gets Rs 25,000.
How to apply
To apply, go to the Bihar Government website. Find CM Kanya Utthan Yojana and fill in all the details.
Who can apply
Only people from Bihar can apply. No one in the family should have a government job. Only two girls per family can get help. If the girl gets married, she can’t get help.
