Citroën Raises Prices for C3 Hatchback: French automaker Citroën has made the decision to raise the price of its popular hatchback car.

The company has officially announced an increase in the cost of the Citroën C3, amounting to Rs 17,500.

The new pricing will take effect from July 1, meaning that prospective buyers planning to purchase the Citroën C3 after this date will have to pay more.

This marks the fourth price increase since the car’s launch last year in the Indian market, where the car has been subject to continuous price adjustments.

Citroën C3 Price Hike Details

Citroën introduced the C3 in the Indian market with three trims: Live, Feel, and Shine.

Among these options, the Live variant, priced at Rs 6.16 lakh, has been the most popular choice among Indian consumers.

The Feel variant is priced at Rs 7.08 lakh, while the Shine variant is available for Rs 8.25 lakh.

Please note that these prices are stated prior to the recent price hike.

Engine Options in the Citroën C3

The Citroën C3 offers two petrol engine variants. The car is equipped with a 1.2-liter petrol engine, producing a maximum power of 81 bhp and a torque of 115 nm.

Additionally, there is a turbocharged 1.2-liter engine option available, generating a power output of 109 bhp and a torque of 190 nm.

Both engine options are paired with either a 5-speed or 6-speed manual gearbox.

Citroën’s Electric C3 (Citroen eC3) is also part of the company’s portfolio and serves as an electric vehicle alternative.

The starting price for this model is Rs. 11.50, placing it in direct competition with the recently launched MG Comet.

It is important to note that the price mentioned is the ex-showroom price of the car.
