Starting from January 1, 2024, buying cars from the French company Citroën is going to cost more.
The company plans to raise the prices of all its models in India. This includes cars like Citroen C3, New C3 Aircross SUV, New eC3 All Electric, and C5 Aircross SUV.
The highest price increase will be for the Citroen eC3, with all variants (except the entry-level Live variant) going up by Rs 31,800. The C3 Aircross will see a similar increase.
For the Citroen C3, the Shine variant will cost an extra Rs 15,800, and all other variants will go up by up to Rs 18,000.
The Citroen C3X crossover sedan is the new addition to Citroën’s lineup, but its price is not mentioned yet.
The design of the Citroen C3X is quite similar to other Citroën models. It features a muscular bonnet, bumper-mounted headlights, a sleek grille, and other design elements.
The C3X may come with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a possible hybrid engine option.
Expected features include a 10-inch touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and safety features like dual airbags and ABS with EBD.
The Citroen C3X is a notchback car, a type of sedan with limited boot space.
It follows a 3-box configuration with the engine at the front, passengers in the middle, and cargo at the rear.
While the price is not confirmed, it’s estimated to be around Rs 12 lakh.
