Fortunately, checking your PF account balance has become convenient, and you can do it even without internet access. You can use SMS or a phone call for this purpose.
To check the balance via SMS, send a message with EPFOHO and your UAN No. to 7738299899. You will receive your PF balance immediately.
Alternatively, you can check your balance through a missed call. Give a missed call to 9966044425 from the mobile number registered in your PF account. After the missed call, you will receive a message with your PF balance.
For those preferring digital methods, you can use the Umang App:
- Install the Umang App on your phone.
- Log in to the app.
- Use the search function to find “View Passbook.”
- Enter your UAN number.
- Fill in the OTP received on your registered phone.
- Select the member ID and download the e-passbook.
If you prefer accessing the EPFO website, follow these steps:
- Visit the official EPFO portal.
- Click on “Service” and choose “For employees” from the dropdown menu.
- Select “Member Passbook” in the Service tab.
- Enter your UAN number and login password.
- Easily check your EPF passbook and current balance.
