ChatGPT Gets Major Upgrade for Real-Time Answers and Internet Browsing

OpenAI’s ChatGPT, known for its question-answering prowess, has received a significant upgrade.

The AI platform can now provide real-time answers and navigate the web. This expansion marks a departure from its previous limitation to static text.

Real-Time Q&A

ChatGPT users can now rejoice, as OpenAI has unleashed a substantial enhancement. This AI chatbot is now equipped to furnish instantaneous responses to your queries.

Previously, it could only offer information up to September 2021, lacking real-time capabilities.

Browsing the Web

In addition to real-time responses, OpenAI has enabled ChatGPT to explore the internet.

This update initially caters to ChatGPT Plus subscribers and enterprise users, with plans to extend it to a broader audience in the near future.

Social Media Announcement

OpenAI made the announcement on its social media channels, declaring that web browsing is currently accessible to Plus and Enterprise users.

They also assured that this feature would soon become available to all users. To activate it, users can simply select “Browse with Bing” in the GPT-4 selector.

It’s worth noting that similar features are already present in Bing and Bard, but Bard occasionally provides inaccurate responses.
