According to the reports, the Swift and the DZire will get a robust hybrid setup that can deliver a mileage of 35 to 40 kmpl. Both of these can get a 1.2L petrol engine.
Their price is expected to be higher than the current model. Apart from this, Maruti Suzuki can also introduce a new MPV with a robust hybrid based on Toyota Innova and get a 2.0-liter hybrid solid engine.
Nissan will also bring two new hybrid SUVs X-Trail Hybrid
Nissan India will also launch its popular SUV, X-Trail, in India with a hybrid engine. Along with technology, the company’s focus will now be on the design.
Through this new model, the company will compete with Toyota Fortuner. That’s why Nissan will include many advanced features in this vehicle.
However, its biggest advantage is its hybrid ‘power’ system. It comes with e-Power 2WD (201bhp/330Nm) and AWD setup (210bhp/525Nm).
Nissan is already testing the X-Trail in India, and it could be launched in 2023 around June or July. Besides this, Nissan is also preparing to introduce its new Qashqai Hybrid SUV.
According to the source, the Qashqai may come with a petrol engine equipped with hybrid technology. It can be introduced in India around March next year.
