The government telecom and internet service provider, BSNL, is competing well with private companies through its plans.
One of its plans, priced at Rs 2988, is similar to Jio Fiber’s Rs 2499 plan in terms of validity.
BSNL’s plan, lasting for 13 months, offers 10Mbps internet speed up to 10GB data each month, with reduced speed to 1Mbps after reaching the limit.
New users can also enjoy fixed line voice calling. There’s a special offer of one extra month free for subscribers of this plan.
This plan allows connecting up to three devices to Wi-Fi. Although it might not match the speed and benefits of Jio Fiber and Airtel Fiber, it’s a good choice for single users seeking normal speed internet and long validity.
Jio Fiber’s cheaper plan at Rs 2499 offers 500Mbps speed and 13 months validity. The subscription cost for 12 months is Rs 29988 + GST.
It provides unlimited data benefits and access to over 550 TV channels, along with free voice calling.
Additionally, subscribers enjoy extra benefits such as free access to Netflix (Standard), Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar, Sony Liv, ZEE5, Jio Cinema, and many other OTT apps, with an extra 30 days validity.
