Exciting news for BSNL customers! BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) has officially announced the launch of its 4G services.
Within the next 15 days, BSNL’s 4G network will be up and running, providing enhanced connectivity to its users. Additionally, BSNL plans to introduce 5G network capabilities for mobile devices starting in December.
Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav confirmed that BSNL will commence its 4G services at 200 locations within the next two weeks.
He further explained that BSNL has successfully deployed indigenous 4G telecom equipment at 200 sites spanning from Chandigarh to Dehradun.
With a maximum timeline of two weeks, BSNL’s 4G services are set to be fully operational. Moreover, the minister revealed that BSNL’s 4G network will be upgraded to 5G by November-December this year, making it even more advanced.
To support the rollout of the 4G network, BSNL has already placed advance orders worth over Rs. 19,000 crore to TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) and ITI (Indian Telephone Industries) for the installation of 4G equipment at more than 1.23 lakh locations across the country.
Minister Vaishnav expressed confidence in the swift deployment of the network, stating that BSNL will astonish users with the speed at which it is implemented. After a three-month trial run, BSNL aims to set up networks at 200 locations per day.
Initially functioning as 4G, the network will undergo a software update by November-December, transforming into a 5G network.
With the imminent arrival of BSNL’s 4G services, customers can look forward to a significant improvement in their mobile connectivity and enjoy the benefits of faster data speeds.
