BSNL recently made changes to its prepaid plans, including a reduction in the validity of the Rs 99 plan.
However, to delight its customers, the telecom company has now extended the validity of two of its prepaid plans nationwide.
These plans have been a part of BSNL’s offerings for quite some time. This move by BSNL is a pleasant surprise for customers, especially when many companies are focusing on reducing plan validity to boost their average revenue per user (ARPU).
Specifically, BSNL has increased the validity of the Rs 699 and Rs 999 plans. Let’s delve into the details of these updated plans…
These two plans will get more validity than before
The Rs 699 plan used to offer a service validity of 130 days but has now been extended to 150 days.
Similarly, the Rs 999 plan, which previously had a validity of 200 days, now lasts for 215 days. These updated prepaid plans are now visible on the company’s website.
In the Rs 699 plan, users now receive 0.5GB of data per day, unlimited voice calling, and 100 SMS per day for a total of 150 days. Additionally, free PRBT is included for the first 60 days.
In the Rs 999 plan, users now enjoy unlimited voice calling for 215 days along with PRBT for two months.
However, this plan from BSNL does not include any data or SMS benefits.
A few days ago, BSNL reduced the validity of its Rs 99 plan. Previously, the plan offered 18 days of validity, but it has been reduced by 1 day to 17 days.
There’s speculation that BSNL will soon roll out 4G BTS from Tejas Network across various regions in the upcoming months.
