Back then, families got Rs 5100. Over the years, the amount increased to Rs 51,000 in 2021. This money helps with the daughter’s wedding expenses.
Evolution of Assistance Amount
Initially, families received Rs 5100 under this scheme. Over the years, the assistance amount has progressively increased, reaching Rs 51,000 in 2021.
This financial aid is designated to alleviate the burden of wedding expenses, particularly for daughters.
