After much anticipation and testing, the Aprilia RS 457 has finally arrived in India, priced at Rs 4.10 lakh. Bookings for this bike will begin on December 15.
The Italian motorcycle manufacturer is offering the bike in three colors.
The first option features black as the base color with red stripes and purple highlights, and black-painted wheels.
Another good option is the prismatic dark color. If you prefer a more subtle look, this color hides the bike’s color, and it comes with red wheels.
The third color, Opalescent Light, also features red wheels and incorporates red and black throughout the bodywork.
Under the hood, the bike is powered by a robust 457cc, 47.6bhp, and 43.5Nm parallel-twin engine.
It comes with a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. Notable features include USD forks, monoshock, full-LED lighting, and a TFT console.
Standard safety features include traction control and dual-channel ABS.
The design of the Aprilia RS 457 is inspired by the flagship RSV4, displaying an aggressive look with split LED lights and a sharp tail section.
Despite its fierce appearance, the bike’s ergonomics are not overly aggressive.
In terms of pricing, size, and performance, it will compete with other bikes like the Kawasaki Ninja 400 and the upcoming Yamaha R3 in India.
