Apple just released the iOS 17.3 update for iPhone users. This update brings a new feature called Stolen Device Protection, which means your Apple ID and iPhone can only be accessed using Face or Touch ID if it’s stolen.
There are some other changes too. The lock screen has a new Unity wallpaper to celebrate Black History Month.
In the Music app, there’s now a Collaborate on playlists feature, where you can invite friends to add or remove songs.
You can even use emoji reactions on tracks in the collaborative playlist.
Other improvements include better AirPlay options, allowing you to stream content to your in-room TV in select hotels.
There’s also a new way to check your coverage for all devices linked to your Apple ID with AppleCare & Warranty in Settings.
Additionally, crash detection has been optimized for iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 models.
To install the update, iPhone users can go to their phone settings, click on Software Update, and follow the on-screen instructions.
