The new Android 15 is here! It’s the latest version of Android, and now anyone can try it out. Before, only developers could use it, but now Google has released a test version for everyone to try.
Right now, the beta version of Android 15 is only available for certain Google Pixel phones. Here’s the list of those phones:
Google Pixel 6
Google Pixel 6 Pro
Google Pixel 6a
Google Pixel 7
Google Pixel 7 Pro
Google Pixel 7a
Google Pixel Fold
Google Pixel Tablet
Google Pixel 8
Google Pixel 8 Pro
People have been waiting for Android 15 for a long time. People all over the world who use Android phones are excited to see what’s new.
One cool thing about Android 15 is that apps will run in full screen. That means when you use an app, it’ll take up the whole screen, and you won’t see those black bars at the top or bottom anymore.
Another handy feature is that you won’t have to uninstall apps anymore. Instead, you can archive them.
This saves space on your phone and keeps your important info safe. If you need to uninstall an app temporarily, you can archive it and reinstall it later without losing anything important.
Android 15 also supports external braille displays, which is great for people who are visually impaired.
They can easily connect their braille display to their Android device and use Google’s TalkBack service.
There are even more features coming with Android 15, but we don’t know exactly when it’ll be available for everyone. It’s expected to start rolling out by August 2024.
