After the introduction of Artificial Intelligence in the business world, companies now want to hire people who know about AI.

However, currently, very few people have knowledge of AI. Because of this, the Amazon website has shared news about a new effort called ‘AI Ready.’

It aims to give free training and education in AI skills to 2 million people worldwide by 2025.

This program will provide various resources, including 8 free courses on AI and Generative AI.

Additionally, the company will also provide scholarships and work with different educational platforms. This means they’ll teach college students the ins and outs of AI.

Let me share with you, just like Amazon, Google is also offering training in AI courses.

You will be able to get 47% more salary after training

Based on a report from Financial Express, ‘AI Ready’ is a way to meet the increasing need for AI skills at work.

A study by AWS discovered that 73% of employers are looking for workers with AI skills, and those with AI skills can earn salaries that are 47% higher than those without.

So, if you have AI skills, you have 47% more chances of getting a higher salary compared to those without these skills.

Swami Sivasubramaniam, who works with data and AI at AWS, said AI is a very important technology.

If we want to use AI to solve big problems in the world, we need to make sure anyone who wants to can learn about AI.

Amazon’s “AI Ready” plan wants to help people who are working now and those who will work in the future. For people working now, the plan will give 8 new AI courses for free.

The AI Ready program has courses for everyone, from basic to advanced, for both business leaders and technologists.

These courses add to the 80+ free and affordable AI and Generative AI courses and resources available through AWS for everyone.

The company is spending $12 million on the course

Amazon and Amazon Web Services (AWS) are spending more than $12 million to offer scholarships, free courses, and coding programs to over 50,000 high school and university students around the world.

The goal is to help students from disadvantaged and underrepresented communities learn about AI and cloud computing.

The plan includes a free course on Generative AI from Udacity, a coding event named Hour of Code Dance Party: AI Version in partnership with Code.org, and a promise to train millions of people in cloud computing skills by 2025.
