When you join Amazon Prime, you get many benefits like fast delivery, early access, and Prime Video.
There’s a change happening for Prime users starting tomorrow, January 29.
In countries like America, Britain, Germany, and Canada, Amazon Prime users will start seeing ads in Prime Video.
This change is aimed at making Amazon Video content more popular and better.
But, the good news for people in India is that this change is not happening here yet.
Amazon will show ads in some countries first, and then later in others like France, Italy, Spain, Mexico, and Australia.
The cost of the subscription remains the same for now. Amazon hasn’t increased the price of the plans.
If you want to watch content without ads, you can pay an extra $2.99. So, the $14.99 monthly plan will become $17.98, which is around Rs 1,494.
To get ad-free content, users can go to Amazon’s website and pre-order it.
By subscribing to Amazon Prime, you get benefits like Same Day Delivery, Prime Video, Prime Music, Prime Gaming, Cashback, and Prime Reading. In India, there are four plans: Rs 299 for one month, Rs 599 for three months, Rs 799 for 12 months, and Rs 1,499.
Amazon also has a free service called Amazon Mini TV, where you can watch shows about movies, web series, romance, and comedy.
