Amazon, a popular online shopping site, is offering a special treat for customers who like to find good deals.
Now, these customers can buy fashion and lifestyle items that don’t have famous brand names at really affordable prices.
In India, there’s been a growing demand for such products, and apps like Meesho are becoming quite popular.
Amazon’s new section will be called Amazon Bazaar. In this section, many items will be priced at less than Rs 600.
Amazon is currently inviting sellers to join and list their unbranded products like clothes, watches, jewelry, and luggage.
There are already several apps that are famous for offering low-cost products. Some examples are Meesho, owned by SoftBank, and Flipkart Shopsy, owned by Walmart.
Also, Reliance Industries, led by Mukesh Ambani, is developing a platform called Ajio Street for affordable shopping.
It’s been revealed that Amazon won’t launch a separate app for Bazaar. Instead, this section will be part of the existing Amazon app.
So, customers can simply open the Amazon app, go to the Bazaar section, and find local unbranded products priced below Rs 600.”
