Akasa Air is having more and more issues. Just a short while ago, 40 pilots left the airline, and now Akasa Air has stopped its flights from several cities.
It’s possible that flights from other cities might also get canceled.
Akasa Air recently stopped some flights from Bengaluru. While we don’t know the exact reason for the cancellations, it’s thought that a lack of pilots might be why the flights were canceled.
Why were the flights canceled?
Akasa Air’s main center is in Bengaluru, and they run 700 flights every day from there.
A spokesperson from Akasa Air explained that a few flights had to be canceled because a small group of pilots quit their jobs without finishing their notice period by the July-August 2023 deadline.
Plan to start many flights soon
An airline representative mentioned that they have made improvements to keep their customers happy.
They are now focused on growing and will begin flying to various cities, including international destinations. Domestic and international flights will be launched shortly.
Akasa on the way to becoming a big airline
The spokesperson mentioned that the airline is financially stable and is working towards becoming one of the biggest airlines globally.
They also stated in an earlier message that the shortage of pilots is a challenge that the airline industry has dealt with for many years.
Flights have been canceled earlier also
Previously, the airline explained that flight cancellations happened because pilots resigned, causing significant problems and inconvenience for the public.
Many instances of flight cancellations, delays, and last-minute flight stops have also been reported.
