The scope of flights may soon increase at Surat Airport. Air Asia has displayed the connectivity of four different cities from Surat airport on its portal.
These include Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bangalore. Air Asia said that soon booking for these four cities will be started.
This will be a big gift for Surat Airport in the new year.
Currently, there is only one flight from Surat to Mumbai and Kolkata
There is only one flight from Surat airport to Mumbai and Kolkata. Now, Indigo has the highest number of flights from Surat airport.
Indigo is operating four flights to Delhi and one flight each to Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Goa, and Jaipur.
Indigo has 9; Spice Jet has Jaipur and Goa flights. Apart from this, Star Air has Belgaum and Kishangarh, while Air India has Delhi flights.
Air Asia started a flight from Surat in 2018 as well
In June 2018, Air Asia started flights from Surat airport to Bangalore. However, this flight was closed after three months. Now Air Asia is about to start flying again.
Air Asia has selected Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bangalore routes from Surat. It has also been shown on its portal. It has also been said to start booking soon.
