Hyundai recently introduced the Exter sub-compact SUV in India, which also comes with a CNG variant.
Priced between Rs. 8.24 Lakh and Rs. 8.97 Lakh (Ex-showroom), the Exter CNG is powered by a 1.2-litre bi-fuel petrol engine that delivers 68 Bhp and 95 Nm torque in CNG mode. It is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
- Maruti Fronx CNG (Mileage: 28.51km/kg, Price starts: Rs. 8.42 Lakh)
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx S-CNG is available in the price range of Rs. 8.42 Lakh to Rs. 9.28 Lakh (ex-showroom).
Equipped with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated bi-fuel petrol engine, it produces 76.5 Bhp and 98.5 Nm torque in CNG mode. The SUV is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
- Maruti Brezza CNG (Mileage: 25.51km/kg, Price: Rs. 9.24 Lakh onwards)
Powered by a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated bi-fuel petrol engine, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza S-CNG generates 86.7 Bhp and 121 Nm torque in CNG mode.
It comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Brezza S-CNG is priced between Rs. 9.24 lakh and Rs. 12.15 lakh (ex-showroom).
- Upcoming Tata Punch CNG
Though not launched yet, Tata is expected to introduce the Tata Punch CNG in the near future. The model was showcased at the Auto Expo 2023.
The Punch CNG will be powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated bi-fuel petrol engine, similar to the Altroz iCNG variant. The estimated price is around Rs. 7 lakh.
