ABZO Motors, a newcomer in India’s electric two-wheeler market, has unveiled its first electric motorcycle, the ABZO VS01.
With prices ranging from ₹1.80 lakh to ₹2.22 lakh (ex-showroom), this electric bike is set to make a mark in the industry, traditionally dominated by electric scooters like Ola’s offerings.
Impressive Range and Stylish Design
The ABZO VS01 boasts a 72V 70 Ah lithium-ion battery pack, delivering an impressive 180 km range on a single charge, ensuring a reliable and long-lasting ride.
Sporting a retro-themed cruiser design, the bike is available in four eye-catching colors: Imperial Red, Mountain White, Georgian Bay, and Black.
Notable features include LED headlights and taillamps, a fully digital instrument cluster, and sleek 17-inch alloy wheels.
With a 1,473mm wheelbase, 158mm ground clearance, and a comfortable 700mm seat height, it promises a smooth and comfortable ride.
Impressive Performance Options
In terms of performance, the ABZO VS01 offers 8.44 bhp of power and a robust 190 Nm of torque.
Riders can choose from three distinct riding modes: Eco, Normal, and Sports, with speeds capped at 45 kmph, 65 kmph, and 85 kmph, respectively.
The bike also features regenerative braking technology for added efficiency.
Fast Charging and Convenience
Charging the motorcycle is convenient, taking just 6 hours and 35 minutes with a regular charger.
However, it also supports fast charging, reducing the charging time to only 3 hours and 20 minutes.
Safety Features
Safety is a priority with telescopic front fork and rear dual shock absorber suspension, along with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, complemented by a Combi-Braking System (CBS). The inclusion of a reverse mode adds further convenience for riders.
Future Plans
ABZO Motors co-founder Kanchi Patel announced that the ABZO VS01 will roll out across India in phases.
