A Millionaire Father’s Decision to Seek Solace in an Old Age Home

After the news aired on the son contacted his father and the father agreed to return home, ending his stay at the Ramlal old age home.

Similar to the storyline of the movie “Baghban,” a father in Agra faced a lack of respect from his family, which led him to seek refuge at the Ramlal old age home.

The father, who is 78 years old and retired from a bank in the Kamla Nagar area of Agra, is the owner of several crore-worth properties. However, despite his wealth, he felt a lack of respect within his own family.

On Saturday, he arrived at the Ramlal old age home in Sikandra wearing branded clothes and carrying his luggage.

When the staff asked him whom he wanted to meet, he expressed that he had come to live there himself. Overwhelmed by his emotions, he started crying.

The elderly father did not explicitly mention the humiliation he faced in his own home.

He shared that his wife spends hours on the phone, one of his sons is an IAS officer, the other son is a businessman, and he also has a daughter.

Despite their wealth and possessions, he still feels disrespected. Additionally, his younger son separated from the family, and they do not communicate.

Upon receiving a call from his IAS son, the father agreed to leave the old age home and join his son in Delhi.

He submitted an application at the old age home and made arrangements to return home.
