Poco is set to introduce its first tablet, the Poco Pad 5G, in India. Himanshu Tandon, the head of Poco India, announced last month that the tablet would launch in August.
Now, Poco has confirmed the launch date as August 23, and the tablet will be available for purchase on Flipkart.
Features and Specifications of Poco Pad 5G
The Poco Pad 5G will come with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It has a 10,000mAh battery that supports 33-watt fast charging.
The tablet features a 12.1-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, and 600 nits brightness.
The display also supports 68 billion colors and Dolby Vision. For photos and video calls, the tablet includes an 8-megapixel front and an 8-megapixel rear camera.
The tablet’s build is sturdy with an aluminum body and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
It runs on HyperOS, based on Android 14, and includes cellular support along with a dedicated memory card slot.
Price and Accessories
Poco is also launching accessories, including a keyboard cover and stylus, alongside the Poco Pad 5G.
The tablet is expected to compete with the OnePlus Pad Go and Redmi Pad Pro 5G in the Indian market.
While the exact price will be revealed at the launch, it is expected to be priced under Rs 25,000 and will be sold exclusively on Flipkart.
